INDEPENDENT COURSES

Training and capacity building

These are short courses that vary from one week to three weeks and are offered as summer or January term courses. All these courses are taught independently or in combinations that make up our semester programs. These courses are intended for college and university students with some technical courses open to research professionals as well.

TRAINING WORKSHOPS

Capacity building for the field

These are one day to week long workshops that focus entirely on increasing knowledge and developing skills within the fields of remote sensing, GIS and data analysis using R in addition to field research methods in landscape ecology, hydrology and wildlife biology. These workshops are very hands on where attendees collect or use their own data on the respective courses.
